How Florida paycheck withholding works

Florida does not impose an individual state income tax, so this release shows $0 Florida income-tax withholding. The calculator still estimates federal withholding and employee FICA. It does not model every employer benefit, court-ordered deduction or special employment category.

Calculation status: exact. State module fl-paycheck-2026.1, effective 2026-01-01 through 2026-12-31. Local individual income-tax withholding is not applicable.

Worked example from this calculator

At $30 per hour for 80 regular biweekly hours, single with a current Form W-4 and no adjustments, the engine estimates $2,012.25 take-home pay from $2,400.00 gross pay.
