Terms of use
These terms cover the calculators, generators and reference pages published on this site. Using the site means accepting them.
What this site provides
Measure Formula publishes free calculators and document generators. They run in your browser, need no account, and are offered as planning aids. They are informational tools, not a professional service, and using one does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
Tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Availability is not guaranteed: pages may change, move or be withdrawn without notice.
What a result is
Every figure produced here is an estimate derived from the values you enter and the assumptions stated on that tool’s page. It is not a quote, an appraisal, an inspection, a bid or a professional opinion, and nobody has examined your specific project. Where a tool cites published ranges, those are third-party figures reproduced for context, not offers.
You are responsible for checking any result before acting on it. For material quantities that means supplier specifications and local building codes; for cost planning it means written quotes from qualified trades; for financial organisation it means your own accountant. Verify before you buy, build, sign or file.
Acceptable use
You may use these tools for personal and commercial planning, and you may share links to them freely. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or present its output as a professional certification, an inspection result or an official document.
The site’s text, layout and calculator implementations remain the property of Measure Formula. Documents you generate — a printed cover sheet, a statement, a list — are yours to use as you wish.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Measure Formula is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on a result, including wasted material, misordered quantities, budget shortfalls or project delays. If you rely on a number without verifying it, that decision is yours.
Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as tools are added or changed, and the version published here is the one that applies. How the tools are built, sourced and tested is described on the about and methodology page, and what the site does with data is set out in the privacy page.
